BSnes Super NES Emulator For The R4 3DS Card

Playing classic retro games on the Nintendo DSi and Nintend 3DS is one of the biggest reasons why a lot of our customer buy their R4 3DS cards.  It’s no surprise then that there are dozens and dozens of emulators for virtually every single old classic game system and computer system available for free, in the homebrew scene.   One of the most popular of these emulators is the Super NES emulator called BSnes.  BSnes has been and continues to be one of the very best emualtors for the DSi and 3DS, allowing gamers to play their old favorite 16-bit games
These games are popular because there were thousands of amazing games that came out for the good old Super Nintendo Entertainment system.  And while the cartridges can be found without any problems, the consoles themselves can be a little bit harder to come by.  That’s why cards like the R4 3DS and R4 3DS RTS version are one of the most popular ways to turn your favorite hand held game system in to an amazing portable classic console.  BSnes has always been popular because it has a whole different approach to emulation.  It’s a low level emulator, which means that it essentially has 100% compatibility with all of the old amazing classic games.  Games like Contra, Donkey Kong Country and hundreds of other old school classics all come to life on your DSi and 3DS systems.  You can take all of the retro with you.  When you get tired of playing all of the 3D goodness, you can chill out and relax with some of the best Super NES games out there.
So far, every single game we’ve tested has worked flawlessly – and at full speed.  We’ve noticed absolutely no slow down or graphical issues, which tended to be noticeable with other emulators for the Super NES.  We’ll be adding this latest version of BSNES to the 3DS Homebrew section on our site, so make sure to check all of our homebrew games and applications.  And while you’re waiting for your R4 3DS to arrive, go and download all of the great homebrew games and apps, so you can be all ready to get down to some serious gaming as soon as your card arrives.
