What is Supercard DSTwo Pro ?

So called dstwo pro is a new card from RealSC-team .The new card was said to be supported 3ds rom.Yet,at present,this card is still a  semi-finished products.

PS: The Design is not definitive. Some want a real 3DS hull but there will be more backward compatibility with DSI and DS Lite
Is it real or just a rumour ? At present , dstwo official site didnt release any updated news about it, but the admin for dstwo forum has given a deny reply,this is the original spoke “SuperCard Team has not developed this product !!!”
IMO,at present, most of people wouldnt belive it,usless they saw the final product and have been tested,they will belive it and accepted this item.
So,let’s just cool down and wait for a more updated news. So,personally i suggest users buy dstwo or other flashcart,such as r4i gold rts 3ds or r4isdhc rts 3ds and so on. both of these cards will work perfectly on your 3ds and dsi latest firmware.

If i update my N3DS by connecting WIFI , will my supercard dstwo be blocked?

In the normal case, if you updated  your console by connecting wifi,the system will update your console to the latest vesion ( v7.1.0-16 ) automatically, if you have updated your 3ds/xl before updating your card,then your card will be blocked.Then you need another console to update your flash kit first. “Never update your console before updating your card”. This word applied to all flash kit.
Yeah,now,here came out a good news that  Supercard dstwo comes with a up to date firmware, which can directly work on 3DS V7.1.0-16 and DSi V1.45 without any updating needed. In a simple word, even if you have updated your console before updating your card, your dstwo can still work well on upated N3DS. You just need buy a preflashed card,then all problem will be fixed. And following is a detailed guide on how to update your dstwo for 3ds v7.1.0-16 ( this specially for those users who dstwo card has been blocked )
Step 1 :  Download the DSTWO latest EOS V1.11  from the official site supercard.sc download page

Step 2  After you download it, you will get the zip file

Extract it

Open the folder

Copy all of them into the root directory of your sd card.
Step3 : Download the dstwo  updated patch V1.25, and unzip it,open the folder and copy the root files into your micro sd card as well

Copy this file and also put it on the root of your sd card. so finally your sd card should have the contents below

step4 :  Put your micro sd card into your supercard dstwo and put them together to your NDS/NDSL or DSI or 3DS version lower than V7.1.0-16 and power your console to update your dswo 3ds first

After update finished, you can make your dstwo work well on N3DS V7.1.0-16.

How to upgrade DSTWO firmware 1.25 to support 2DS/3DS XL 7.1.0-16?

Supercard DSTWO bought on r43dsworlduk.com which is compatible with 2DS/3DSV7.1.0-16, if  your2DS/ 3DS has been upgraded to version 7.1.0-15, pls don't worry. you can still play games using ds2. the one thing needed to be attentioned is that you need to upgrade your DSTWO firmware 1.25 to support 2DS/3DS XL 7.1.0-15?

Q:How to upgrade DSTWO firmware?

Step 1: Download the firmware..

Step 2: Unzip and copy the upgrade file such as “dstwoupdate.dat” to MicroSD.

Step 3: Make sure you have DSTWO EOS system in your MicroSD, if you don’t have, please download: DSTWO EOS v1.11(2012-12-12).

Step 4: Find a DS console (NDS\DS\DSLite\DSi\3DS) which can run this EOS system, if you have the latest version console can not run EOS system, sorry, you have to find one.

Step 5: Turn on the power, EOS will detect the upgrade file, press A to upgrade.


Now, the DSTWO support the latest version console. Off cause if the firmware declared support the latest version console.

R4i gold 3ds and Supercard dstwo can directly work on N3DS V7.1.0-16

Nintendo official has updated N3DS/3DSXL firmware to V7.1.0-14 today, the new firmware update was designed to improved system stability and usability, following are more updated news about this update,i mainly quoatated from original post :

2.Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”
I have tested flashcart, it seems that the new firmware didnt block any flashcart and i have tested , for the time being, following flashcart can directly work on N3DS V7.1.0-16 :
Wood r4i gold 3ds
R4i sdhc rts 3ds
DSTwo
Ace3DS Plus
and so on.Following is  a detailed guide on how to update r4i gold rts 3ds to N3DS V7.1.0-16
1. download the latest wood firmware from www.r4ids.cn and unzip it,open the folder

2.You can copy all of them into your sd card, or you can just copy the _rpg folder and _DS _Menu.DAT file into your sd card.
3.Create a folder names games on the micro sd card. put your games on the folder. In the end, here are the contents of your sd card.

4. Insert your micro sd card into your r4i gold rts 3ds ,then put the r4i card into your 3DS,and power it,you can play games on your N3DS V7.1.0-16.
