I upgraded my R4i to the latest firmware, but it’s still giving me an error.?

I upgraded my DSi to 1.4.4U by accident a couple of days ago, and today the update for the R4i came out (V1.59b) on the official site.
The R4i I have is V.1.4.1 and even though I upgraded the firmware correctly (It works fine on my friends DS Lite), I’m still getting the error message: An error has occurred. Press and hold the Power Button to turn the system off. Please see the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for help troubleshooting.
I don’t understand why I’m getting this message when I already updated it. What should I do?
Fix Method:
You have to upgrade your R4i to v1.4.4 in another DSi(must lower than v1.4.4) or DS Lite,because your had upgraded your DSi to 1.4.4.
Method:
1. Download latest R4i SDHC V1.59b kernel to your computer.
2. Unzip the patch, you can get 4 files: “moonmemo”, “moonshl2″, “R4iMenu” and “r4.dat”.
3. Copy the 4 files to the root directory of the MicroSDHC card, cover old files automatically.
4. Insert the MicroSD card to R4i SDHC card, and put r4 card to console, power on.

How to play new nds roms on a R4 SDHC?

I have a R4 SDHC and the last kernal made for it at www.r4sdhc.com is v1.34 which was released in march 2010, so im stuck playing games from 2009. I have tried using a few patches like wood and ysmenu but all it does is creates more issues like game save errors or none of my roms able to start.
Is there some website out there still making kernal updates for the R4 SDHC or a patch so i can use a kernal from a R4i etc.
Fix Method:
Your R4 SDHC card is too old,i would recommend you buy a new version R4i SDHC card,the kernels are updated very quickly,it can play newer games.

I updated my DS to 1.4.4E what new R4i should I get?

I accidentally updated my dSiXL to version 1.4.4E and I want a new r4 that supports it. I’m leaning towards the r4i gold plus or r4i gold pro. Do these both work on that version of firmware.
At present most of newest version R4i card can work with DSi v1.4.4e.I recommend you buy a R4i Gold 3DS card or R4i SDHC V1.4.4 card.

R4i 3DS card problem?

so I bought a R4i 3DS. i copied 56 games. i tried 5% of my games, and when I tried to play Trauma Center (i have never played it before in my new 3DS card), the Create Save File loading bar has full, but it emptied again. it full again, but the game won’t start. and then i turned off my 3DS. when I turned it on and clicked on my 3DS card menu, it won’t show anything but white screen with a text “MENU”. how do i fix this? thanks!

How to use Acekard 2i Skin for R4i Gold 3DS card?

Just as r4i gold 3ds users knew,some themes of r4i gold can not be use, you need to rename some images like DIY them.But today,i have tested my r4i gold 3ds with ak2i skin and it works ,so i post here for sharing .
Things you need to be prepared
1.Downlode the latest firmware v1.44 from here : Wood R4i gold 3ds v1.44 and unzip it,open the folder and copy the root files into your micro sd card.
2.Download some ak2i skin from ak 2i official skin download center and unzip,open the folder and copy the root files into r4i kernel file the theme on the  ’_rpg’ — ‘_ui’ directory. (Following is the acekard 2i skin i download )

3.insert your micro sd card into your r4i gold 3ds and put them together into your console and boot it and the original pix i set was "cute style " ,so now i will change it to "working 1" and please look at here :


Click " start icon " on the right bottom of below screen

and choose setting

then you will enter this UGI and choose system setting--user interface style and click the right direction key to choose " working 1",like following pix

then click "A" to confirm,then the system will tell you following information ,just following the guide,tha's ok :
